@ahab,I had a yellow 1974 pinto, 2.3 liter 4 (the optional larger one),3sp auto, air conditioning, I got it without a radio and I put in an aftermarket stereo. It had non power steering and non power brakes. In 1978 I sold it to (gave it to) a woman friend who never paid me for it.
It’s the batteries, not the phones, actually, just as with development for cars, hover boards, etc.. At least a Pinto couldn’t potentially bring down an airliner.
