It was a great dog whistle for his followers. But it is time to switch to Clinton whistles, he’s not going against Obama for the white house. He will still use racist whistles and Islamophobe whistles, but he is retiring one of his best ones.

The idiot Republicons have embraced “the end justifies the means” concept since the days of Nixon. How can anyone be surprised by anything coming out of Trump’s mouth?

I saw Kellyanne Conway on “Meet the Press.” It seems that whenever backed into a corner with hard questions such as Trump’s birther turnabout, she slips out of the headlock and claims that only Mr. Trump can answer for himself. Good luck with that. She’s a typical greased-upTrump handler, with her Moebius strip method of dealing with press questions. Rumor thatijustmadeup has it that Trump has one more TV program in development, and it will be named “Beat the Press.” Wait, that program is now in progress.

“…and it will be named “Beat the Press.” Wait, that program is now in progress.”-Aha, a new unreality show, broadcast live everyday for the past 2-5 years. Unfortunately, some are lapping it up, hook, line and sinker.

How is it possible that anyone is still taking this blowhard seriously?

Don’t worry his new campaign attack dog set the record straight. Trump will do what he wants, and she has no idea how he feels about birtherism, but Clinton started it even though she didn’t. And Clinton is the worst, even though she isn’t. Conway is so bad at her job, anytime she asked a question her answer is “Clinton bad!”

“I don’t understand it either. …”.It’s hard to imagine why trump supporters support him due to the conflict in their own self-interest but then one remembers that trump has built his base with the uneducated and under-educated, the not-too-bright demographic. The ones who don’t care about the facts. They are simply voting for a disrupt-er. They are not happy with the status quo so they are willing to throw the baby out with the bath water. It kinda keeps coming back to the not-too-bright thing.

“The man believed to be responsible for the explosion in Manhattan on Saturday night and an earlier bombing in New Jersey, Ahmad Khan Rahami, was taken into custody on Monday after he was wounded in a gunfight with the police, according to law enforcement officials.” Oh yes, there is no reason to have suspicion of Islam.

Many people, including by the way some incredibly reliable sources, have said that it was Trump supporters who put him up to the bombings, because every incident like that helps the Trump campaign.

And you’ll notice Trump himself has not yet denied his being part of the conspiracy.

“ … He isn’t even a conservative by any reasonable standard, and most of the conservative theorists have disavowed him. …”The Republicans are no longer conservatives - consider their positions on AGW, immigration, etc - and they have been playing to voters who feel unfairly treated. When elected, politicians toss a few crumbs the plebeians, but their main obligations are to the patricians … then along comes Trump, spurning the classic language of the patricians and using the sermo vulgaris of the plebeians and promising ti empower those who despise the elites.

The Republican party no longer exists in it’s old form. It has been taken over by the lunatic fringe, which is why I now use the term Rethuglicans.

Looking at my mom’s old news clippings from the ’50’s and her pride in where the Republicans were going under Ike; remember Joe McCarthy??? The nuts on the right aren’t exactly a “new” thing! Xenophobia has long been their calling card, as with the John Birch Society, and more recent paranoids, like well through in a few “sovereigns” to the mix!
