Just as some of your electorate can be taken in by a Narcissistic, philanderer. So can ours be conned by world class liars. You’ve got Trump and we got a referendum to quit the EU. Dumb truly knows no borders.

Hate to admit it but the Wizard here has it nailed down pretty good.

I think England will do well apart from the EU. The EU doesnot seem to fit well in the new world order.

Yet the vote wasn’t binding. It remains to be seen if Brexit actually happens. Personally, I doubt it.

The EU immigration policy has been great for London and Paris. Not to mention Greece. The smart leaders have closed their borders and told the EU to piss off.

It’s not a binding referendum. There’s still time to avert the wreck. Otherwise, it’s a race to the bottom.

The NPPWhy don’t you learn what socialism is instead of using it as a cuss word that gets by the censor. Most of the countries in the EU have been socialist for generations. EU originated in Plan Schuman in the 1940s. Democratic socialism originated in the 1880s with Sidney and Beatrice Webb and George Bernard Shaw, and you oppose both democracy and socialism without the faintest idea about either because a cabal of 1990s millionaires told you to.

I think you are right. A lot of people are lost in an increasingly complex world and Trump’s (He’s equally clueless ) soundbite – solutions offer a welcome escape from having to think.Our mocking and exposing of Trump seems to drive them towards him rather than away from him – by spite towards those who would burst their balloon of delusion, as you said.Perhaps we should be careful when describing Trump and his supporters but it’s so hard not responding in kind when seeing all these slanderous attacks on Hillary , Obama and the democrats in general.

The US is pretty socialistic already, particularly the Capitalist sector, which can’t survive without government handouts. All the big success stories had help from Uncle Sam—sometimes even military assistance in knocking people off of their land, for instance, for the railroads.
