After my mother passed (at age 84), we wanted Daddy (who was 89 at the time) to move in with us. He said “No, this is my house. It’s not a home anymore without your Mother, but it’s still my house”. My mom and him worked hard and saved their money for a long time to get that house built. He lived another 4 years, in that house, in wonderful health until he fell in the breezeway and hit his head.

I moved after my wife died. It was hard being in it.

A house is as building till people move in , then it becomes a home. When they move out it is just a house once again.

I think the wrong word were bolded, It should have been “OUR” and “YOU”.
