I can’t believe we live in a world where the NCAA, the NBA, musical acts, and various businesses boycott an entire state because its leaders say that you should use the bathroom corresponding to your actual anatomy.

The boycott by the NCAA is particularly hypocritical. Leaders of the NCAA have turned thousands of programs across the country upside down over Title 9, but now they are trying to get us to acknowledge that gender is an illusion and all that matters is how one identifies! Which is it?

Habuck: Actually, your actual anatomy does not seem to have anything to do with it. From the Federalist: “.. HB2 … states that persons must use the bathroom and locker room that identifies with the gender on their birth certificates.” So, NC is saying, more or less, "don’t show me what is in your pants, show me what’s on your birth certificate. If you think about it, it is not clear how that would have worked out for enforcement.

I remember my mother taking a year to get a duplicate birth certificate for Social Security. Back then, the only legal copy was held at the county seat – and a lynch mob burned it along with the whole building and at least one prisoner. The glorious days of yore the Republicans want to take up back to when America was white.

“Inside of me I have these feelings of inferiority and anxiety.” Take this pill. “Inside I have this emptiness and sense of uselessness.” Take this pill. “Inside I hurt.” Take this pill. “Inside I feel like another gender.” Oh, in that case, perform radical, expensive surgery, lobby for your rights, condemn those who dismiss your pathway, and stand proud, brother (or sister, or….). Highly illogical, captain.

Another example of how the alt-left, PC culture is trying to force their will, their beliefs, on everyone else.

I love it when conservatives like habanerobuck lecture people who are being discriminated against about what is and isn’t discrimination. Why don’t you ask a trans person whether they find HB2 discriminating? Why don’t you ask a gay person how they feel about the state taking over their city government, making it possible again for anyone to discriminate against them on hiring and lodging? Next, you can tell interracial couples that a ban on interracial marriage doesn’t discriminate. Because it doesn’t affect you. It only affects people you despise. So, in my book, you don’t really have standing to defend HB2.

Every day a new way to disrupt our emergency systems is discovered. It’s good to know that NC’s legislature is on top of this century’s solutions and not wasting time with frivolous laws.

tomRights are unalienable and not subject to majority vote in a free country. Ah, now I see: you don’t want a free country I could recommend a few, but most require learning a new language, if indeed not a new system of writing it.
