Both a Hillary Clinton supporter and a Donald Trump supporter hold up signs that read "Matt Lauer is an idiot!" Man: Well... at least we agree on one thing!
The problem is they want to ask provocative questions and really don’t dig for an answer. So what happens is they attack the other candidate for a minute or two, do another couple of minutes on their promotion of the day and then they really answer another question. The moderator should really take the time to squeeze an answer out of them or make it painful.
I don’t watch television and this Matt Lauer issue just reinforces my decision to continue avoiding it.Our political system is broken and broadcast/cable news has become a source of entertainment not objective information.
Look for future moderators to be labeled as idiots as well. Maybe if enough get slammed, it won’t be a prestigious job anymore and we won’t have anyone who will do it. Maybe Trump can just skip the debates so he doesn’t get his feelings hurt.
It’s all about ratings (money). Why wouldn’t NBC use their best-known overpaid cue-card reader? The media have no interest in a healthy Republic. Quite the opposite.
After seeing some of DOCTOR Ben Carson’s statements in the media, methinks we can all agree that having a Medical Degree doesn’t necessarily make you an intelligent person.

He didn’t realize it, but Trump solved the entire waterboarding controversy.There is no longer a need to use ANY ‘enhanced interrogation techniques’. All we need to do is to send Trump into the room when the interrogation is taking place.Trump is ‘SO GOOD with the body language’ that he would be instantly able to tell whether the terrorist was telling the truth.
If only we had known 15 years ago what a weapon we had.
