There’s actually a good warning here. Garage doors can be dangerous. Never try to fix one yourself. Always call a company that specializes in garage door repair.

The commercial that bugs the heck out of me is the one for remote household control via smartphone, where the lady shuts her garage door remotely. I’d never do that without being in line-of-sight. Even those ads showing someone walking away as the SUV hatchback closes give me the heebie-jeebies.
