And that’s the world I live in now. Where people enjoy something for a minute or so then lose interest…like this jackass poster above me here. Not like my my era when people used to enjoy things for years until we lose interest in it.

It works. This is how we have always lived, no matter the income. It is fun and it exercises the creative side of your brain! Saves a boatload of money too!

Learning to fix things for yourself instead of paying someone to do it for you can be a lot of fun too. Saves you a ton of money. Use a little ingenuity and imagination to build something you need with materials you have on hand. This has all helped me and my family to save money for other things!

This appears to be a photocopy of the book. I have the book.

The problem is not thinking it’s boring. The problem is imagined entitlement to be entertained by everything around you.

This is the intro to the comic. Takes time to build up. Be patient and enjoy. Good things come to he who waits.

Well Buh-Hooey to rest of you posers-uh, posters. I’m sticking with this strip. It’s cute. But if one of Trotman’s creations start to use any type of vulgar words, then I’m out of here!

Use it up, re-purpose something, do without. I wonder how many similar axioms of my youth this comic will bring to mind.

I can not take anyone who keeps chickens in the city seriously. The stink, the cost of feed, medical care, far out weight any food benefit to the creatures in the small scale urban setting.. And unless you have lived on a farm and have cleaned out the coop I am discounting your opinion.

These are necessary skills if you don’t want to be pushed into career drudgery but also want to retire one day without worries. To beat the drudgery, you have to work at what’s fun, whatever your criteria for “fun” is. And that often doesn’t pay a lot. So, to reach the ultimate goals, the fundamental of which is to reach retirement free of debt and with you core needs paid for, you have to learn to live cheaply. You don’t have to do without anything that matters. But you can’t do it by eating out every meal, paying other people to do for you what you can do for yourself, and buying a new car (or two) every three years.

I’m intrigued, at least by the short bit I’ve seen…dunno why someone would need to comment on not following further, actually.
