Just then, Celeste and Madelyn look up and see a spaceship coming in for a landing. Celeste says, “There’s Calvin and Hobbes. His wife Susie is with them. Pal and Buddy will like Hobbes”. The spaceship lands and Calvin comes out to greet them. Susie, Bacon and Hobbes come out, too. Calvin has trouble keeping his eyes off Celeste. “Calvin, it’s great to see you and Susie again, even if it is under these conditions. Bacon, this is Madelyn. She and her pets, Pal and Buddy are coming with us”, says Celeste. Bacon already knows she has a friend when she sees Madelyn.
“Hi Bacon”, says Madelyn. “Celeste told me about Clovis-Rex and how you sang Justin Bieber love songs to him to defeat him. I know some of those love songs. I sang some to a few boys that I didn’t want hanging around me”. Bacon knows that Madelyn will be a big help. She says, “Are these your pets? Hobbes is my pet”. Pal and Buddy see a large tiger who will protect them. They smile at each other. Bacon then tells Madelyn something that others have also wondered about. “Madelyn, I guess you’re wondering why I’m called Bacon. It’s because everybody likes Bacon”. Madelyn and Bacon just start to giggle. Hobbes just rolls his eyes and slowly backs away.
Meanwhile, Clovis-Rex is now half way to Pleasentville. He will stop at nothing to get his revenge. Plus, the children at Intergalactic Children’s Hospital will provide him with a few good meals. Back home, Roberta the Plant is finishing up on husband, Robert the Plant. He now will have the ability to send poisonous darts into Clovis-Rex. She is afraid that Calvin and Hobbes won’t be able to stop him. She doesn’t know that Madelyn and Bacon are teaming up with those Justin Bieber love songs. “Robert, I love you. Be careful”, says Roberta. Robert tells her, “I shall defeat Clovis-Rex and bring Clovis back home where he will be safe”. He then sets out to Pleasentville to help Calvin and Hobbes.
