One can’t be too safe around grandma…

Alice has her pegged.

Grandma is an ace pegger of deviled eggs, ehh?! Well, yes: prudence is called for here.

OK I missed somewthing here…reletively new to this strip..Why does Grandmaw throw develed eggs at them?

Grandma’s, well, different…

It’s been awhile, so I’m trying to remember, but I think she is suspicious of anyone who drives up. But yeah, Grandma’s different. Throw in her dog, Big Shirley, and you’ve got a visit more frightening than a fish slapping bear and a pangolin put together.

Maybe you need to go in wearing armor.

Big Shirley just wants to get to know you.

Alice isn’t going to be re-assured until she sees Grandma and Big Shirley at the same time.

I thought after the last big holiday visit that Alice and Big Shirley had made peace with each other - even though Alice threw Polyfil at Big Shirley in an abortive effort to escape.

I am not always sure what is going on in cul de sac, but I always feel better after I read it. Like Proust.

I don’t know that it’s ever been explained why Grandma throws eggs at cars, but it was one of the first things we learned about her. Alice reported that she USED to be one of those people who WAVES at all the passing cars, but she changed…

No doubt Alice will tell Grandma about everything that has happend since she last saw her.

I wonder if Grandma will be suprised that Petey has some friends now.
