Someone in my building kept allowing their little dog to pee and poo in the hallways and elevator without cleaning up after. Only took a few times of this before the condo association put an end to it. No idea how they did it but they did!
Where I live, not cleaning up after your dog will get you a ticket and a hefty fine if you are caught, even on your own property. One of the few good uses for a cell phone with a camera.
I hike frequently and I’m amazed at how many folks don’t pick up after their dogs. Also, how many let them off leash but can’t control their pets. Ticks, foxtails, poison plants, rattlesnakes…the dog is not being punished when you keep it on a leash

Probably changed to rules to not allow pets in the building.
