Trump does not reflect historical Republican values nor the inclusive approach to governing that is critical to healing the divisions in our country. Trump’s lack of self-restraint and his barrage of ill-informed comments would make an already perilous world even more so, he would be the most reckless president in American history. Brasssorchid’s ignorant rant comes from Breitbart and other right-wing fake-news sites. They have no argument against the Kahns, but they know that racists will buy into a fake “sharia law” story. It’s just like “John Kerry was a coward and his medals were fake.” Enough people believe it, and the GOP does not respect heroism.
What the Khans HAVE done is make the effort for a long time to “rat out” supposed “Muslims” who defame the faiith, or promote actions against their adopted country they love, the United States of America. Anti-Muslim, xenophobic craziness like “tinpot orchid” is what is damaging our country, and getting us into still more stupid wars for hegemony, for our corporations.
