The trailer for Justice League, and what little we saw of him in Batman v Superman, looks like the movie universe is going to make Aquaman cool again, or try to. He’s Jason Momoa from Game of Thrones – hard to go wrong with that casting.

Wikipedia has a list of superheros who are jewish in canon, and some supervillans too like Magneto who turned his back on religion of his upbringing
