^ Now now.. don’t be mad because members of the RNC were caught in a strip club on RNC funds and that the RNC provided funding for insurance plans with abortion coverage.

In my heart I believe in the freedom of people to worship as they choose, without any type of government interference. As long as we’re allowing a mosque at ground zero lets also build a temple to Ba’al complete with an oven to incinerate babies. Oh! And a Mayan temple complete with an altar with blood grooves so that the priest can cut out hearts without messing up the floor. And heaven forbid we leave out the Thugees…

If the neighborhood was as well appointed as described, … .nah, it would til not improve it any.

A cult of death is no religion, ergo, one mosque is one too many!

Obviously the cartoonist ceased to read news in the 1980’s. Jimmy Breslin, the columnist bemoaned the disneyfication of NYC that brought an end to the squeegy men, beggars and people sleeping in the doorway. Rudolph Guiliani did many good things for the big apple.

A community center that is for all in the community would be a blessing. A celebration of the melting pot that makes New York the vibrant center of culture, education and opportunity. NOT a mosque, not a church, not a synogogue. Otherwise you have to open the door to wicans, Buddists, naturalists, etc. COMMUNITY- for all to participate.

    Micheal Dell built:

The Jewish Community Association of Austin (JCAA) supports an innovative community where Jewish living and learning can thrive. Located primarily on the 40-acre Dell Jewish Community Campus in Northwest Austin, the JCAA provides a vast array of services and programs, from enrichment opportunities for all ages to support services for families, from health- and wellness-oriented programming to global philanthropy.

An umbrella organization, the JCAA includes five main divisions: Jewish Federation of Greater Austin, the Jewish Community Center, Jewish Family Service (JFS), Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), and Jewish Life and Learning. These branches work together to comprehensively address the needs of Austin’s Jewish community in collaboration with area congregations, schools, and community organizations.

Everyday at the JCAA offers another opportunity to grow–as people, as families, as a community. We are a gathering place for our members, for the Austin Jewish community, and for the community as a whole. We are a center for Jewish living and learning. We are a shoulder to lean on for those in need.

We are the Jewish Community Association of Austin

Mission The mission of the JCAA is to enhance the quality of Jewish life in the greater Austin area and around the world, through charitable, educational, social service, cultural, religious, and recreational endeavors.

Core Values The operations of the JCAA shall be guided by the core Jewish values of tzedakah (justice, charity, righteousness), tikkun olam (repairing the world), and gemulat chassidim (acts of loving kindness). The JCAA connects individuals and families to Israel and the Jewish people, strengthens Jewish identity and commitment, and helps community members explore meaningful paths to Jewish living.

There IS a “gentlemen’s” strip club, one block away. BTW, abortion stops mitosis, WAR stops a heartbeat!! The latter is totally supported by the vast majority of “pro-life” conservatives. And, hey, hey, hey, the “mosque” development is owned by a JEWISH DUDE!! Oh, the irony!!!

Nah, GRDone33. The “ugly” remark was just added because I was feeling a bit punchy.

But petergrt’s comment (”A cult of death is no religion, ergo, one mosque is one too many!”) is unequivocally ignorant and offensive.

And if you agree with it, you’re probably ugly. ;)
