A cat’s job (sleeping mostly) looks an awful like being on strike.

“Wildcat strike” defined:A spontaneous or unannounced illegal industrial action by a section of employees, without following the proper procedure for striking such as majority approval through a union ballot. In such situations, the employer usually has the legal right to fire the offending workers and to sue the union for damages. Also called outlaw strike or quickie strike.

Lots of dogs work. Service dogs, search-and-rescue dogs, herders, guard dogs, etc. I guess Bucky’s never met a guard dog protecting its owner — lucky for Bucky!

Last shot – any more politics in the strip and this customer is not buying your product any more. Funnies is funnies. Commentary belongs on the op-ed page and NEVER in the funnies. Or you are that lame a cartoonist that you have to tow that line because you’re not bright enough to do what the vast majority of your contemporaries do?
