I’d expect the full reveal of something like this to come in a Sunday strip. Or maybe the final panel of Saturday, so Sunday can be spent letting it sink in. Here the mask is already coming off on a Wednesday. We still don’t see his face, but is that going to take the rest of the week?

Does that mean he wore a mask in prison? I guess that is the case but is wearing a mask allowed in prison? That’s a very dangerous thing if they allow it

Interesting that the mask Abner removes in panel 2 includes hair (a wig) as well as the false face. How much uglier could his real face be? I can hardly wait for some enlightenment on the subject (pun intended). Of course we still have a good deal more Evil Monologue to hear along with Tracy, I’m sure.Betimes, I cherish the artwork!

Having abducted Tess, Abner is reckless in not keeping both hands free. Tracy will only listen to so much. Will he relay Abner’s last words to Rikki? More great art!

gotta wonder if tracy can see abner’s face and its just the readers that can’t.

I’m willing to bet that, to ABNER his looks would be ghastly, but to everyone ELSE he is ridiculously handsome.

Ok – I’ll preface this with the fact that my wife often tells me I remember things that never happened. But I seem to recall some discussion about Abner wearing a mask early on in his introduction as a a character. Anyone care to go strip spelunking to dispel this?

Clooney, Pitt, Scarlett Johanssen, Harley Quinn, Warbucks? I can hardly wait until..whenever, drag it out guys.

Any speculation on who Abner might be? Somebody we would know, perhaps?
