I’ve never had a dog yet that would rest until it had removed the “squeak” – and half the stuffing with it.

Sakura is a vicious squeak-eating hunter. That squeak doesn’t stand a chance when she’s around.

I don’t know. What a spoiled dog! If somebody came home with a new toy for me, I for one would be happy, even if it wasn’t something that fulfilled my every desire!

My dog loves squeaky toys but, like Dani Rice’s, will not rest until the toy has been de-squeaked and de-stuffed. She holds the toy down with her front paws and just rips them to shreds. Then the carcass becomes her best friend for months. I’ve tried all kinds of toys, ranging from soft “skinnies” that look like stretched foxes or skunks (I call her fox carcass, her oldest toy that she’s had since she was a puppy her "poop fox – long story) to super-strong kong-type rubber toys and she destroys them all within minutes

We refer to the pulled out stuffing as “blood”. Are we the only ones who pick it up and restuff and resew the toys? Over and over and over again! In fact, watching a toy being mended will keep both dogs enthralled for hours.
