I don’t think this is what the Queen had in mind. All she has to do is have one of her guards throw something at Tarzan. That will make him move and spoil the ruse.
I am no expert BUT watching documentary TV shows about real nature, the males allow the females do the hunting and killing, so a dead body in reality would not slow down the feasting by these two males.

As I recall from the book, Lion A kills Lion B, then Tarzan grabs Lion A and throws it into the stands
