Blackberries that are juicy ripe and still warm from the sun are the food of the gods. (As well as the due reward of hikers in the Northeast in August!)
One summer at Yosemite my cousin and I bought some ice cream in the village. We sat down outside to eat it and realised that blackberries were growing like crazy right next to the bench. We each picked a handful and had them fresh on our ice cream. That was one of the best treats I’ve ever had!

I don’t mind blackberries. Seeds get in my teeth but toothbrushes work also water pick.
