I take off half the month; going to a folk music fest the 1st week, then a history reenactment the 2nd. Music and camping, my favorite activities!

Thanks Jan, I love todays strip. Complain, complain ! You complainers go find the obits and enjoy. I am 83 and totally enjoy all of Stone Soup strips. It makes my day or week as it is now. As far as August is concerned, I’ll bet you all have A/C. Use it and stop grumbling. Each day is precious any where you are. Trust me.

Phil – Val – Wally – Joan. The sisters could be interchanged but they are more likely each sitting next to their husbands.I’m in the Pacific Northwest and it actually seems like it has been a bit cooler than normal this summer – I’d really appreciate some warmer days before summer is gone (I’m wearing a flannel shirt at the moment)!
