Hey Right Wingers… how do your globalist, conspiracy theories stack up now? Did the vote rigging, control your life Bilderbergers screw it up? Maybe god made it rain. Anyway look forward to reading your distortions in somehow ‘blaming’ this on the left whist your fear driven 1950’s consciousness pervades. Cause you got what you wanted… nationalism won. Kinda screws up your narrative though… doesn’t it?

The UK Lion will soon enough loose some of parts too. The scots will break up for sure now – and there would be an England with a poor Wales and North Ireland remaining.A bad decission made with the stomach instead of the brain against some nebulous fears. The national politicans are the problem. If they hide their incompetence behind the “big bad – it’s all their fault!” EU the last decade, they can’t change the national meaning they prayed all the years in a few month back.

The situation with the EU has always been complex, and, with the fact of the U.K. Referendum going for Exit, it just got a little more messy. As has the situation that the British face.

Having said that, there is one area where the EU and it’s precursors have had a clearly good effect.

Up through 1945, there was a war in the European zone, including the British Isles, roughly every 30 years. Over centuries, every 30 years, the newest generation lost young men to war. Every 30 years. A lot of people died, and many more suffered, horribly.

There has not been such a war in the European zone for 70 years. We had the collapse of Yugoslavia, and various other behind-the-iron-curtain countries, but not a major war.

The destabilization of the EU could be a threat to continued peace.

Look at the good side, it may finally lead to a united Ireland and independent Scotland. The Kingdom of England and Wales.

wmconellyThe Celtic Kingdom of Scotland and Ulster? Will Brittany come too? Last I heard, Scotland rejected independence and it hasn’t come up in Ulster or Brittany. Britain and France are still intact

From empire to nationalist stupidity, the British have pulled the plug on cooperation with the world economy, just as Trump and his followers would have us do. Something from our own revolution should be reviewed, “We can survive together, or hang seperately”.
