I remember calling someone at my work and hearing a spiel that lasted like, 15 seconds. When she finally finished, I said “My gosh, do you have to say all that every time you answer the phone?” She said “Yes, and I hate it!”
I once drove to the wrong town one Saturday morning because I was in “commute” mode. I was intending on going to Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and ended up going to Halifax instead because that’s where I worked.
