Like I said the other day and to follow up on the discussion yesterday, I hope Steve is actually okay. Usually by now he has said something if folks are fretting. (Yes he does occasionally chime in, when it suits him. Love him for that. He put my heart at ease a couple of times.) It is interesting, the strip is not really zombie-ing, it’s jumping around. The first repeat was 2012, then some 2013, 2010, now 2012 again… More like a “best of”? Maybe Steve is just on a break and just picked these. Or could it be maybe he is revisiting old favs, recapping, getting ready to bring LD home? It would be sad, but I could be ready for him to get found.

I can just see it: LDL in a snug, warm house, looking out the window at Tortie and other old friends, gathered to say goodbye in the last frame.
