    Never waste a good crisis. The White House immediately asked for big $. They have no idea where it needs to be spent. But that is beside the question. Now, Shame, Guilt, and Anger are being blasted at anyone that shaves that number for practical reasons. I still believe in Big Spending, when it comes directly out of the pocket of those fussing the most.

    Jumping to attempted conclusions with mosquitos is not the best way to spend money. There’s still a lot to do in determining what vectors might really be capable of carrying the virus, that’s the first step. Those calling to kill off all mosquitos are of course the least informed by facts, or history. There needs to be some work done, but panic spending isn’t the answer.

    U.S. Constitution, Article I, Section 8, towards the end – To raise and support armies, but no appropriation of money to that use shall be for a longer term than two years.
