It’s ok to kill birds for inefficient green energy, especially if it makes you feel all warm & fuzzy inside.

Google: ‘Bald Eagles Killed’. There’s lots of them. Not a single one by a Wind Turbine…

And amazingly no body complains when birds are sucked into jet engines or flies into a cockpit window

Designs have improved, and are improving more, fewer bird strikes. Wind is cheaper now per KWH than coal, and doesn’t kill as much wilflife of all species, or humans as coal.

Between 1997 and 2012, six bald eagles were reported to be killed by wind farms. Pesticides, hunters, electrocution, and developement of waterfront areas that lead to the destruction of the bald eagles’ habitat are greater threats than wind farms.

Buildings four to 11 stories tall account for about 56 percent of bird deaths.

Crow Nobo: yes, big windows mean lots of dead birds, at the same time, peregrines like nesting on those same tall buildings in cities. (All them pigeons are GREAT eating!)

All the people and animals in his cartoons seem to all have the same bewildered reaction look at the crap he is spouting.

I have heard stories that wind and solar power do kill birds yes. I’m not sure of the veracity of the stories, but let’s say for the sake of argument that they are true. Now then, how many birds die because of power lines? Or how much ground water and land is poisoned by nuclear and fossil fuel? Also, when did the Right start caring about birds? Granted the Left is self important on the issue. And alternate forms of energy may not yet be as efficient as fossil fuels. But that’s really not an excuse not to use them. Or to put it another way, even if alternate energy were to make up 5% of our power, that’s 5% less dependent we are on the Middle East or Russia’s oil. Why shouldn’t we invest in making ourselves as independent of other counties as possible in respects to oil? And if we can use an energy source that’s cleaner, why not do so?
