ghenley, do you follow the news? We are experiencing the greatest job growth in history. I suppose if Trump would win and declare the country bankrupt like he has done with many of his business ventures, that would be a good thing in your opinion.The graph actually shows that the jobless rate is going down. I don’t understand why that would make the boss reluctant to give a good worker a raise. Maybe if he doesn’t understand the meaning of the chart, he isn’t a good worker. Is that the point of this comic?
Politics aside, I think the cartoon is backwards. It should either show joblessness going up or employment going down. It looks like a good time to ask for a raise.
