If it were up to us guys, there probably would not be a Father’s day. Modern Father’s day was started in 1910 because 1, Mother’s day was starting to gain momentum, and 2, a daughter wanted to honor her father. My guess is that Father’s day is much more important to mothers than it is to fathers.

My oldest daughter, son in law, and two grandkids are currently hiking along the Mississippi River…
