I’m interested that Payne uses the term “working class”. I thought that was a forbidden term among the right because of its socialist/Marxist connections? “There is no working class, with working class interests, there are only individuals who temporarily aren’t yet rich.”
The Obama Administration has made broad and significant investments to help reduce and assist people that have become victims of the increased poverty made worse by economic crisis. Trump will be catching them in his limo and making their lives better? Trump supporters are unhappy about the direction of the economy and see themselves as being left behind. A substantial majority of Republicans say they are “very worried” about the condition of the US economy, but the anxiety does not reflect their personal economic circumstances as much as it does their hatred of a black president.
@nlkilpat…my question arose from my reading day after day the preponderance of liberal/left posters. (not from the clearly defined cartoonists) And I always read as much as I can stand of liberal-left media, because my political viewpoints were developed from observation and reading by age 30 and I am now in my 80s. I helped re-elect Ike as soon as I was 21 and could vote that year. -I watched from about 1950 when media was 99% Liberal, and PBS’ idea of “fairness” was to have an hour weekly of William Buckley——interviewing and debating liberals.-I praise God for the development of Conservative media: print, radio and TV. -I praise God that the intense brainwashing of public school students began after I graduated high school and began educating myself by choosing what and who I preferred.-Today, 2016, I am appalled at what elem-hi-college graduates express and opine, revealing the lack of understanding of the philosophy and Faith that created the USA and our system of government and our Judeo-Christian- based legal system. My proof of the downfall is the number of young people who prefer a dedicated Socialist to run the huge US government! We need communist system refugees to teach courses in our high schools, IMO.

Republicans/Fox “news” viewers know in their hearts that if they just hate immigrants and minorities enough, they’ll get their jobs back.
And their pensions.
And it’ll be great.

Mr. Payne, bloodstone4590 sounds like a proud Trump supporter. Do you think he developed these views because of Obama or he had them before 2008?
