One Conservative commentator was not impressed, saying the speech was poorly written, something to be expected of an average high school student.

Of course it will be great, it will be an “America First” policy. The best kind of great policy!America comes first, and Trump will make a sweeping redirection of America’s global role. The US will always put its economic and foreign policy interests first but said that allies in Europe, Asia and the Middle East will benefit form a must stronger, less ambiguous US role in the world. As long as they are prepared to pay up. Trump also put America’s allies on notice that they , too, must start making a more tangible financial contribution. He will call summits in Europe and Asia to discuss a rebalancing of commitments. “We must make America respected again. We must make America truly wealthy again and we must, we have to and we will make America great again. And if we do that, perhaps this century can be the most peaceful and prosperous the world has ever ever known.” -Trump

Trump said he would get rid of gun free zones around schools.Defund planned parenthood. Build a great wall.Ban Muslims from entering the country and establish a deportation force. Kill the spouses and children of our enemiesWaterboard and torture more.

Republicans have definitely gone over to the dark side. But they were never bright to start with.

Trump will prove himself to be a master of diplomacy:

He’s already said he’ll make A deal with Russia.A deal! And if Russia won’t make A deal with him, why he’ll just walk away.

    And the crowd went wild.

This is as deeply as Republicans/Fox “news” viewers think about diplomacy. A deal.By a ‘strongman’.No compromises. If ‘they’ won’t budge, the next step is force. Maybe invasion.Maybe carpet bombing.Maybe nukes.

    You know, unpredictable.

And why would that be bad?

It wouldn’t. But being the world’s policeman sure beats isolationism, even with two mighty oceans to protect us.
