I read of a case many years ago when silver was found in the west and it had to be sent to the east to be turned into coin then shipped back. It was a pain so they started minting the coins in the west. The Feds arrested them for counterfeit. Well it turned out the Fed coins were 90% and the “counterfeits” were 100% silver. The Feds lost the case. The San Francisco mint was born!

Saturday Night Live recently announced it will have 30% less commercial time next season. TV Guide gave that one of their weekly "Jeer"s with the comment that they’d be replacing the income with product placements [in the sketches]. I find EB3’s inclusion of “HP” in his comment awkward and irritating, so I’m offering up this possible explanation just to clear my head and body.
