It seems both of these mammals are working with opposable thumbs.
As I recall, Lois (Margot Kidder) had a fairly small role in that movie, as the producer decided to make Clark’s old girlfriend, Lana Lang, the primary love interest. The movie also did much poorer than the first two Christopher Reeve films.
It would have made that horrid movie a little better.
It was Harvey Weinstein.

Lois was barely even in this movie.
