Oh, snap! By 2008 the nightmare Ralph Nader had bequeathed us all was coming to a close. What a shame that this man, whose legacy should have been one of a lifetime of public service, instead left us perhaps the worst President in history, and certainly the worst since Hoover.
It’s sad that we’re forced to vote to retain the White House and not to be able to vote for the candidate most in sync with our conscience or political/social perspective. Of course, that’s what happens when you throw a third-party candidate into what is essentially a two-party race. I often wonder how much better things would have been had we avoided the W debacle … just saying …
