Both Bennet and Romanoff were good candidates, so it was a tough choice. Now Bennet gets to run against Buck. Buck had the good sense to say two true, honest things: that he disagrees with Obama’s policies but that he believes that Obama is a good man with good intentions; and that birthers are “dum•sses” who shouldn’t be part of the poiitical dialog. Unfortunately, he was attacked on both occasions by the tea party and backed down, showing a distinct lack of integrity.

It was when he claimed that the U.N. was behind Denver’s bicycle-rental program as a plan to defeat our freedoms that the man revealed himself as a wacko, and I doubt he’ll find much support from independents.

I thought it was Dan Maes, the R’s nominee for Governor of Colorado who said that about Denver’s bike-rental program.

Did Bennett say the same thing?
