    If Cysteine is an Amino acid, you’ll be able to find it in almost anything living. It is typically extracted from protein waste material (poultry feathers, pig bristle) because that’s the simplest and cheapest way to get it.

    It’s NOT extracted from human hair, at least not for industrial purposes.
