My younger dog Mongo did that when I took him thru the car wash! His Dad loved the car wash, he would chase the brushes as they moved down the side of the car.

Don’t think Farley likes baths, so she should have realized he wouldn’t like a car wash!

Ahhh! Part of a cartoonist’s (and possibly any creative person’s) inspiration:“I was always happy to vent into the strip whenever something like this happened!”

Oh to pay a dime for a car wash again.

My son was terrified of them until he was about 7 years old. He’s 8 now and he loves them. lol

“Never take the dog through the car wash.” Especially if you don’t have a car.

I do not recall Elly making such a statement. And how were her Oriental neighbors a “threat” for Farley to behave?
