He may have been a good man, but he made probably the worst foreign policy decision since the War in Vietnam. As Truman said, if you don’t like the heat, stay out of the kitchen.
“W” and friends were “good men” who hated taxes and war, and got taxpayers to make them rich with a tax-built baseball stadium, then started to senseless wars. NOT my idea of “good men”, unless hypocrisy and lies are the criteria.
“Republicans learned discourteous conduct from the way democrats treated Bush.”Yeah, because the Republicans treated Carter & Clinton with such respect. Political mudslinging goes back way before 1776. Bush left the country in a mess because of two ill conceived military occupations & terrible domestic policy.
“You mean like claiming that Wall Street is responsible for all the poverty in America…”No one made that claim besides you. Having a such huge portion of our GDP go to a few Wall Street dealmakers isn’t my idea of a healthy, sustainable economic model, though.
“…….He was a good man trying to accomplish a difficult job while working in an avalanche of mud. ….”.Not so difficult to kill and maime hundreds of thousands of innocent people and destroy infrastructure when you are the commander in chief of the largest and most deadly military.
