Michael_wme is someone who has been banned from posting comments on Gocomics. Many of his fellow posters feel the ban is unjustified..Gocomics seems to have a very strange policy on banning and has no method of appealing.There are a number of “regulars” that have disappeared over time.. one prolific poster that comes to mind went by “Harvey” (I think)
For some reason they have taken the go-to-the-cornerstore-car on the freeway and left his car, her car, and teenager’s car home in the garage along with the quad, dirt bike, and boat.
Actually, the satire is spot on. Obama preaches climate change and yet he takes two Air Force One’s to Cuba. A five minute review of protocols for presidential travel shows that taking two Air Force One’s is not normal. Typical liberal, just like Al Gore, no personal responsibility for these things, everyone else must change.
The “diplomatic mission” of the Bush administrations, yes, both of them, would be B- 52’s returning after dumping their loads on countries that did nothing to us.
There was an article about world leaders, including the Presidents of United States, contribute to the carbon footprint by their travels.Sorry, Mr. Lester, but President Obama will travel the same way his predecessors did. His successors will also travel the same way until the Boeing invents a hybrid 747.As for the side trip vacation, he probably saved the taxpayers money by combining a state trip with some personal time.
From all the posts one sees whining about Use of AF – 1, etc., by POTUS Obama to travel on USA Business; one can only assume the POTUS should “Hole Up” in the White House after being elected and not emerge again until their term(s) are over! Except for the Irrationals, nobody is saying Never fly, drive, etc., just Minimize the use of Big Carbon Footprint items when the choice is there!
