Thankfully, India has Labour Laws and Unions. OT can be redeemed for money or time off. Of course, exceptions are (SOME) US-owned multinationals, where some ‘wink-wink, psst-psst’ threats work!

Unpaid overtime? Seems to me that I remember such being illegal in this country. I would certainly say no to any such request.
