When I retired, I took it to mean I’d never have to do anything again…That’s all I’ve ever wanted…I’ve always resented HAVING to do things….

Getting out, in the sun, the warmth, the smell of growth and renewed life. Why wouldn’t you want to be there? Janis gardens I’m sure she can appreciate that.

I’m planning on a low-impact retirement: fanfic writing mostly.

I think he spies on me. So many situations I get into show up in the strip.

Since I retired I have time to read and paint and work crossword and sudoku puzzles and other stuff that I didn’t have time for before retirement. My subdivision has a lot of lakes and walking trails and I log between twenty and twenty five miles a week there. Retirement’s been good to me. Thank you Lord.

If achiness and weariness are the requisites; I feel VERY alive most mornings.

retirement sounds good. I have 44 more days to go till my retirement.

I wanted time to speed up in my last 5 years before retirement,now I want it to slow down!We spend too much time living in the past and the future,not enough in the present.

One point about retirement….The hours are great, but the pay really sucks…And if you don’t have a pension, you’re toast…

I am a metal worker, sheet metal and structural steel. May 24 this year will make 50 years doing the job.
