Well, there’s another use of “X-Specs” so I’ll say it was definitely intentional both times. I apologize for thinking it was a typo, but this storyline has had quite a lot of typos compared to the average one.

Still not sure it’s in character for Tracy to be a film buff.

The Russian cop has the X-Ray glasses. I wonder where the writers are going with this? And did DJ and his men get killed in the blast?

Anyone know why the past three comics were printed in black and white?

Ivanov is back with the tovarisch (товарищ ≈ comrade) use again. I think someone here said it was now a dated word, but Ivanov seems rather “old-school” to me, so I think it suits him.

And they’re more “The Three Caballeros” anyway.

This story is wrapping up quickly. I’m looking forward to Mole’s wedding, and then Notta makes her move!

I don’t see how the story is finished if the x-ray glasses are still in play. It seems to me that until they are returned there is a story.

There’s still time for a twist. Will Tracy pluck the glasses out of Ivanov’s pocket?

Steve Martin, ha! A nice little dose of humor to relieve the tension. Meanwhile, if looks could kill…quite the dirty look Spicy is giving Tracy as he begins to lead her away.

I LOVE the Three Amigos – so wonderfullly silly and a stellar cast…with music by Randy Newman.

Now back to the story – wasn’t Ivanov given some sort of intel about the glasses by his superiors prior to being sent to Cuba? Or am I remembering something that never happened again?

Sweet, innocent, Old School Comrade Porfiry seems to be in a great hurry to rush Tracy, with Spicy and Specs, off to the USA. I don’t suppose he could have any ulterior motive? —Such as giving himself a chance to fly home to his Kremlin handlers with a sling-full of X-Ray goggle technology that is proprietary to Smith Industries?Tracy’s touch of humor is a nice acknowledgement of the Three Amigos analogy; but is he, too, covering more intel than Ivanov suspects: i.e., is Tracy suspicious, or oblivious?

And, in keeping with the rest of the storyline, we don’t get to see Specs’ eyes very well today.

I thought the bad guys got the X-ray specs yesterday.

We don’t know what happened to the X-ray specs, but it seems that Ivanov was the only person close-by when they vanished.

Good Morning, Vista Bill, Gweedo, et al:Blunebottle is back, almost literally, from the dead! Just spent the last 8 days in hospital with an extremely rare, deadly reaction to a virus or something….they’re confounded as to what caused it, but thankfully, they knew how to treat it. I was virtually completely numb. I am now on the mend, but boy, does it hurt- like when the freezing comes out of your jaw.Prayers for complete healing gladly received.Cheers,Blune.

Blunebottle I’m glad you are on the mend, you will be in my thoughts. As for the story I too feel it was rushed. I was expecting something more in the finale, it seemed as DT didn’t really do anything to bring about the conclusion and that bothers me. I am hoping that the X-ray goggles will make an appearance in the future. Now on to the wedding!

I get whiplash reading how fast these storylines whiz by!
