As an American of Irish ancestry (and yes I can take a joke) I find this cartoon offensive to my heritage and my religion. The acceptance of the stereotype of the Irish drunk is ingrained in the American culture and shows a lack of sensitivity.. Diversity comes in many colors – one of which is green.The Irish helped build the great nation we live in, have contributed to it’s military and political legends. Now they are sadly a punch line……Shame on you who find this amusing.
