The best way to end it is for the team shooting the free throws to get the ball back, not the other team.

How about a designated shooter like the designated hitter in baseball?
Shoot the free throws and keep the ball.
How about a correct interpretation of the Flagrant Foul rule and toss the offender out of the game? That would stop this crap as well. You’d think they were still on the playground court back in the ’hood….
There is a rule about intentional fouls. Why not just use it? Or give the fouled team the option of taking it out-of-bounds instead of shooting.
