Hillary Clinton: Hell-o firewall! Man: Say what? Hillary Clinton: This is the south. You're African American. That makes you a democratic brick in my firewall. My firewall is the blacks who will vote for me reflexively because they remember my husband fondly and never heard of Bernie Sanders. My brilliant beloved, much-respected firewall. Man: Who doesn't like being objectified?

It’s really sad that American politicians can more or less count on entire demographic groups to vote against their own interests. Republican strategy in particular seems to be based on the principle.

Most polls show she will get that support she could garner 80% of SC black vote. However, young black college-aged voters are turning lukewarm to Clinton. Sanders is a fresh face – where voters know Clinton. Voters know whether they like her or not (you know whether you like Hillary Clinton or not). This also leave Clinton open to the question – what have you done for me lately? The familiar usually helps in elections – even if voters don’t like what they see, they will still take that over an unknown.

If I were Hillary, I wouldn’t assume it’s all that safe. Not after people watch this:http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/bernie-sanders-unveils-moving-new-ad-with-eric-garners-daughter-20160211

Divide and conquer. It’s always been a tool of the power structure and their non-powerful tools. Sure, black and brown people need more Republicans like Rick Snyder looking out for their welfare.
