As of today 40 Congressional Democrats who will decide any punishment for Rangel have received campaign contributions from him. No mention of conflict of interest.
IMO, the Dems calling for Rangel to resign, really want him to stop denying the charges to avoid a trial where the public info will taint the Democrat Party in the November 2010 election….not that far from now.

A) Citizens United also allows unions to make unlimited contributions. So strange that a Democrat would forget to mention that very pertinent fact
