Historic First Latino Victory in Presidential Caucus. Ted Cruz, who supports increased deportation, expanded border patrol, and a big wall between The United States and Mexico, tries to woo Latino voters. Cruz: You can clap now.
Nice reference to Jeb Bush’s pitiful plea for applause. Now we’ll see if having two Cubans on the ticket is enough to get the Hispanic vote, or whether Republicans need to actually stop demonizing and persecuting them as well.
Will Cruz also do away with the automatic path to citizenship for Cubans entering the United States without papers are does he just hate non-Cuban Hispanics?
Here’s my question:Putting aside the issue of whether Cruz’s proposals are good or bad in and of themselves, one thing remains. They’re going to be WAY expensive to implement. How does Cruz propose to do all that, WITHOUT raising taxes, and/or the deficit? And how does he expect to pull this off without a big expansion of Federal Authority?

What, no northern wall? Doesn’t that border deserve protection? We’re not a country without it.

Would a northern border have kept Raphael Cruz out?
His supporters must be soooo disappointed that he’s not eligible to be president.

Not sure if “latinos” in general are in favor of illegal immigration.

So good to see the Evangelicals in Iowa voting for candidates with unethical values.
