The winnowing process the media uses is the same as it’s ever been, except, now they print the chaff and discard the wheat.

Freedom of the press disappeared when people like Murdoch started buying the outlets. Look how the quality of the WSJ has declined since its newest owner started writing memos about the political slant required to work there. Ideology trumps truth, decency, research and, apparently grammar and spelling.

I have a C&P 8×12 press, but I can’t compete with the local shopper in speed. All of us have a press (Internet and computer), or why else are the censors trying to outlaw our access to it? The press in the first amendment sense is called a blog today, easier to ignore it.
