I don’t remember the swipes so much as the crazy sandwiches our mother used to make. . .looking for variety/fun. . .one she tried was mashed baked beans, pickles, and onions. . .can’t remember whether there was mayonnaise, mustard or ketchup. . .but, for a while, those outranked even PB&J in our house. . .
