This describes my cat Honor and our adopted cat Morrie (hyperthyroid)(definitely a furry singularity). My Nimitz is more selective. Our other adopted cat Mac has moods which make him fairly selective about when he wants food.
In the Honor Harrington novels the treecat who adopted her, Nimitz, was often described as having a black hole for a stomach, especially when it comes to celery. All treecats love celery. (BTW, treecats are sentient, so are people in their own right. Hexapedal, arboreal, flintknapping, frisbee-loving, telempathic people. Bleek!)

So that’s where all the food goes. A big bottomed pit where the sun don’t shine.
