And Mr. Fleet gets a bad rap. It was a dark and foggy night. Radio operators and the ship’s officers ignored radio warnings from other ships about icebergs and were speeding through dangerous waters.
Mr Fleet spotted the berg as soon as it could have been spotted. It was almost totally dark out that night.
