^ Have you considered running for the presidency? Or at least governor of Alaska?

What a schmuck. First he does his dishonest and loony-tunes movie Expelled, now this. And to think, I liked him in Ferris Bueller.

That should be an elephant sitting on him.

Still most of the Conservative posters here will say that the Recession was not Bush’s fault, and that the best thing to do for the unemployed is bring back the GOP.

It is a strange world they live in, too bad they are trying so hard to force us to live in it too.

A simple truth – Carter, Reagan, and Clinton got us out of recessions by spending money, and in Reagan’s case by raising taxes.

And yet we all prospered during the Clinton era. Interesting how that works. Bush dropped taxes, the rich prosper, and everyone else tanks.

“Clinton had the highest tax increase in American history”

From, what, 31 to 39% maximum? I wonder how you measure that, I’d say the ones in the 30s should beat it.

Actually, Factcheck did a piece on that claim, and found to be false (http://tinyurl.com/3ebqbj). I hope that settles it.

4uk4 - Thanks for the facts, they are important because it means that we can be talking about the truth instead of getting tied down in lies.

We are great recession, as I have pointed out it is not our first recession, so we can look back and see how we got out of them in the past - the most recent have been under Carter/Reagan/Bush Sr/Clintion – they all spent their way out, and all but Bush Sr. raised taxes.
